FBS Supports Children’s Empowerment Program in Nigeria

We are delighted to announce that FBS has partnered with the SAAES Foundation to join the Empowerment Program in Nigeria!

Together, we helped Ireti Olu Schools in Hajj Camp, Gaa-Odota, Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, to empower children from underprivileged neighborhoods.

The initiative aimed to improve their educational experiences and general well-being by providing essential resources and creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration.

  • School supplies: exercise books, writing tools, and other learning materials to ensure full participation in classes.

  • Clothing essentials: new shoes, socks, bags, and T-shirts to enhance their confidence and pride in attending school.

  • Food and drinks: snacks, noodles, and beverages to create a festive and memorable environment for the children.

According to Sunday Ayodele Adetunmbi, chairman of the SAAES Foundation and FBS’ valued partner, children who previously lacked essential items now approach school with enthusiasm and a renewed sense of identity. One student shared: “I now have everything I need for school, and I’m excited to learn every day.”

The program also brought significant benefits to teachers, who noticed increased classroom participation and improved student morale. One of the teachers has also expressed appreciation for the Empowerment Program’s effect: “This program has not only helped the students but also encouraged us as educators. Seeing their smiles inspires us to work harder.”
