As you use your FBS account to deposit funds to use them in trading, this, unfortunately, may lead to fraudsters trying to get hold of your account to gain access to your personal data and funds.
We are becoming increasingly aware of cases where fraudsters, pretending to be FBS or FBS representatives, contact our clients with the intention of obtaining confidential information and illegal access to their Trader Area.
Some fraudsters might try to do it by posing as FBS representatives. Please be aware that FBS representatives will only contact you via official means of communication from official FBS email or contact - and will never ask you to share any information regarding your account security, such as your account passwords, confirmation PINs, registered email, etc.
To further ensure the safety of your FBS account, you can follow these recommendations:
- Never leave your Trader Area open with your device unattended. Log out of the PA or lock the screen.
- Avoid logging into your account from third-party devices. If it is necessary, use the incognito mode.
- Do not ask anyone to open FBS Trader Area using your name.
- Do not share your identity documents with anyone.
- Do not share your email address or mobile phone number you use to receive verification codes.
- Do not share your PIN or transaction confirmation code with anyone.
- Do not transfer your funds to an unknown person’s bank account, payment card, wallet, digital payment address, or other means of receiving funds.
- Do not open any links from unknown sources
- Only use your email address and mobile phone number to register for your account.
Please be aware all financial interactions with our traders are conducted exclusively through the official FBS mobile app and our official website. No representative is authorized to collect deposits or other charges on behalf of our company.
It is also important to point out that some fraudsters posing as FBS representatives might appear extremely convincing and use official FBS branding.
